Panthers drop Tigers

Matt Nafe scored 18 points Tuesday, while Evan Ferber recorded 17 points as the New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Panthers boys’ basketball team defeated the Medford Tigers 61-43 in Medford.

Matt Carlson also added 12 points for the Panthers.

“Evan Ferber had a very good second half,” NRHEG coach Pat Churchill said. “He scored 15 of his 17 points and grabbed six of his eight rebounds in the second half. That was the best half of basketball I have seen him play this year.”

Alex Spinler led the Tigers with 10 points.

NRHEG is back in action at 7:15 p.m. Friday as they play the Randolph Rockets in Randolph.
