1986 — A full page Tribune ad was urging people to take a short money saving drive to Clarks Grove’s Fobair’s Furniture Showrooms and Waterbed Gallery.

1976 — The Albert Lea City Council was considering a proposal for public restrooms in the former Rivoli Theater building.

1966 — Students at Albert Lea’s Central Junior High School were preparing to relocate to the new Brookside Junior High School.
