Lou-Rich is an asset to Albert Lea

Betty and I attended the open house of Lou-Rich Inc. on Saturday.

Having been residents of Albert Lea from 1953 to 1981 then being transferred by First Bank Co-op, now U.S. Bank, to Luverne and being gone for 25 years, we couldn’t believe that this company had grown so large.

Our visit Saturday afternoon was outstanding. The tour was very well organized and Roger Paul, our tour guide, did an excellent job explaining the purpose of the many machines.

We were surprised to learn that production is not limited only to agribusiness, but also involved medical and more outlets.

Congratulations to the company and employees — you are a huge asset to Albert Lea and Freeborn County.
