- Bottom: A worker with Larson Contracting works in Hawthorne Elementary School on Monday.
- One of the two original steam boilers at Hawthorne Elementary School gets disassembled Monday. The work is part of the heating and ventilation system upgrade that all the elementary schools, the middle school and Brookside Education Center will have to undergo in the next three years. -- Kelli Lageson/Albert Lea Tribune
