The Hayward 4-H Club met for its monthly meeting on June 10 at the Hayward Town Hall.

Prior to the meeting the 4-H members played a fun game of four corners. Then President Derek Wagner called the meeting to order and roll call was taken.

At that time the clover buds went to the activity table to make Father’s Day cards while the meeting continued. During the meeting the group talked about upcoming events such as the Hayward Club’s June Dairy Days poster that would be on display at the Ranch and Pet Supply business, and the Freeborn County dog show at the county fairgrounds on June 23.

The group also talked about ideas for the Hayward 4-H club float that they would enter into the Fourth of July parade. This is the group’s 100th year as a club and several ideas were discussed regarding acknowledging and celebrating this big event. After the meeting the Wagner family served refreshments. The next meeting was scheduled for July 8 and would be the club tour.
