Men arrested for drug violations

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Steven G. Powers for fifth-degree controlled substance violations and a small amount of marijuana at 12:19 a.m. Saturday at Harmony Park Music Garden, 79503 298th St., Clarks Grove, according to reports.

Reports indicated Jeffrey Joseph Powers was arrested for Hennepin County warrant for drugs, and Matthew Gordon Bowers and Robert Mitchell Saunders were cited for a small amount of marijuana.

 

Man cited for DWI

Police cited Vincente Ramon Martinez, 32, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after receiving a report of a fight at 2:29 a.m. today at Kwik Trip, 1210 E. Main St., according to reports.

 

Items reported stolen

A theft of golf clubs and a golf bag were reported stolen at 4:21 p.m. Friday at 914 James Ave., according to police.

Items were reported taken from a vehicle at 85231 Ballpark Road, Hollandale, at 8:56 p.m. Friday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.

Checks were reported stolen out of a purse in a vehicle at 309 S. Central Ave. in Geneva at 11:20 a.m. Friday, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

A vehicle in a storage unit near the intersection of Madison Avenue and West Seventh Street was reported broken into at 11:01 p.m. Friday, according to police. A stereo was stolen.

A stereo was reported taken out of a vehicle parked near The Chapel, 115 S. Broadway Ave., at 1:12 a.m. today, according to police.

 

Man reported walking with guns

Albert Lea police received a report at 6:13 a.m. Sunday of a white man in his 40s walking near City Beach with one gun in each of his hands. Police were unable to find the man.

 

Counterfeit bill reported

A $10 counterfeit bill was reported at Walgreen’s, 703 E. Main St., on Saturday.

 

Car fire reported

A fire was reported in a 1998 Toyota Camry at 316 Railroad Ave. at 5:53 p.m. Sunday.

 

Car damaged

A car was reported damaged at 321 James Ave. at 6:14 a.m. Friday, according to police.

 

Spraypaint reported

Spraypaint was reported on the driver’s side window and wheel of a 1996 black Ford Explorer at 1702 Sheridan St. at 6:23 p.m. Sunday. The driver’s side mirror was also broken.

The driveway of 1705 Sheridan St. was reported spraypainted at 9:16 p.m. Sunday, according to police.
