Church services to be at fairPublished 9:15am Friday, August 3, 2012
There will be no service at the state park this week. A city-wide church service will be at 10 a.m. at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds at the Grandstand.
Next week services start again. Nondenominational church services will be offered at Myre-Big Island State Park this summer. Services start at 8 a.m. and dress is casual. Anyone is welcome to attend.
There is no cost to attend, but you will need a valid vehicle sticker to enter the state park. Services last approximately 30 minutes. In case of rain, services are held in the pavilion.
