According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, motorists can expect lane closures on Minnesota Highway 13 beginning Monday.
The closures are necessary as crews resurface the road and conduct culvert repairs.
The project is expected to be complete mid-October, weather permitting.
When the project is complete, motorists will experience a smoother ride surface and a safer highway, according to MnDOT.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
