More than a dozen people were arrested for drug violations Friday and Saturday during a heightened enforcement in the Freeborn County roads near Harmony Park in Geneva.

Members of the South Central Drug Task Force — which includes deputies from Waseca, Faribault, Steele and Freeborn counties, along with several police departments — conducted the enforcement, mainly on roads between Ellendale and Clarks Grove. There were also several arrests made at the park itself.

This is in addition to a dozen people cited for possession of marijuana or drug paraphernalia on Thursday.
