Roy E. Balder, 93, of Albert City, Iowa, formerly of Pocahontas, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at the Pleasant View Home in Albert City, Iowa. Funeral sevices will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hope United Methodist Church in Pocahontas. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Powers Funeral Home in Pocahontas, Iowa.
