Congratulations to the Minnesota Vikings for beating the San Francisco 49ers 24-13. The 49ers are a top team that made it to the NFC Championship Game last January. The Vikings’ victory is a quality win.

It was the best performance by the purple and gold in two years — on both sides of the ball. They were more physical than their opponents, who are known for being physical. And it was the best performance by young quarterback Christian Ponder in his pro career. Hopefully, it is a sign of things to come.
