Marriage is for 1 man and 1 woman
Published 9:31am Tuesday, October 9, 2012As a senator on the Northwestern College Student Government, I and the other members of our body seek to engage the students of Northwestern in the world to represent Christ. We stand on the principles provided to us in the Bible, which has brought us unanimously to this resolution:
“In light of the proposed marriage amendment on the ballot Nov. 6, 2012, Northwestern College Student Government officially declares their full support of the biblical definition of marriage as between one man and one woman.”

While I agree on the biblical definition of marriage, you have to remember that passing The Minnesota Marriage Protection Amendment is about reaching everyone, including those who do not believe. Jennifer Roback Morse has written a wonderful document on the 77 non religious reasons to support marriage as a union between one man and one woman. For the good of all of society and especially for the good of children who need both and mother and a father, please vote YES on November 6! Marriage is not about but adults want but what all children need.
