The Albert Lea Community Chorus is seeking people to become members to participate in the annual Christmas concert at First Lutheran Church. Rehearsals will be on Wednesday evenings from Oct. 10 through Nov. 28 beginning at 8:15 p.m. Dress rehearsals will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. and at 10 a.m. Dec. 1 with the concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 2.

“A Classic Christmas” will feature pieces familiar to everyone with selections ranging from Handel’s Messiah to traditional spirituals to John Rutter’s beautiful carols. The chorus will be accompanied by the SEMNCO Orchestra.

Rehearsals are held at First Lutheran Church in the choir room. You may join the choir at any time after 8:15 p.m. as you are able. Singers of high school age on up are welcome.
