Albert Lea High School choral director, Diane Heaney, is pleased to announce this year’s ALHS ‘CAT’aclysmic Show Choir members. They are:

Soprano: Quinn Anderson, Isabel Ehrhardt, Ella Otten, Angie Schmitt, Suzie Marin, Katie Williamson, Kelly Kaasa, Hannah Hertling, Katelyn Hendrickson, Megan Lindely and Tori Helgeson.

Alto: Laura Piper , Kelli Sanderso, Kailie Drescher, Chrissy Monson, Jalen Jimenez, Christina Schmidt, Rika Boorsma, Addie Fleegel, Sarah Savelkoul and Haley Allen.

Tenor: Tanner Shaft, Aaron Zogg, Sam Ehrhardt, Landon Kirchner, John Buringa, Ethan Peek, Daniel Gould, Connor Larson and Michael Whitten .

Bass: Matt Bera, William Kozelsky, Jacob Jensen, Sergio Chavez, Tate Tufte, Andy Ehrhardt, Larry Holcomb, Kyle Zogg, Foster Otten, Nick Walther, Caleb Troe and Logan Petersen.

The group was chosen by audition from over 100 students and rehearses regularly on Tuesday and Friday mornings before school. They will be available for local performances. The group will not compete this year and will be doing a set of music featuring songs from Disney motion pictures. The group is choreographed by Jalen Jimenez and Diane Heaney.

Also chosen was the women’s prep show choir, The SASS.  Those members are:

Genevieve Johnson, Taylor Edson, Carly Nelson, Claire Nelson, Carissa Fitzlaff, Taylor Martinez, Meliza Lopez, Katie Rasmussen, Sandi Balbuena, Skyler Hanson, Amy Sanderson, Ahnika Jensen, Quinn Petersen, Hannah Savelkoul, Francesca Eckstrom, Cali Cantu, Haley Larson, Cheyenne Severtson, Kaitlyn Ravlin, Kendra Manges, Tianna Abrego, Kristine Bergeron, Ruby Ojeda, Natalie Weiland, Maddie Willey, Brianna Shea, Jasmine Becker, Liana Schallock and Heather Wirkus.

They will rehearse on Thursday mornings beginning the end of October. This group will also be available for community performances in the spring.
