Credit card, cash taken from man

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office received a report of two men who had taken a person’s credit card and cash at 4:33 a.m. Monday at the rest area south of Albert Lea off of Interstate 35. The suspects, who authorities describe as black, reportedly left in either a silver or gray Prius with Canadian plates.

Police cited Dean William Slater, 43, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated and open bottle violations after a traffic stop at 902 Abbott St. at 3 p.m. Monday, reports stated.

 

Items taken

Items were reported stolen from a motorhome parked at Becker Auto at 6:05 p.m. Monday, according to reports.

 

Xbox stolen

An Xbox was reported stolen from Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., at 8:20 p.m. Monday, according to police. The suspect reportedly got away.
