First graders from the Albert Lea Family Y’s flag football program have been invited to play during halftime of Saturday’s Albert Lea Grizzlies football game at Jim Gustafson Field.

The game is scheduled for 2 p.m. and is a fundraiser for the Albert Lea junior high football program.

The first-graders will have the chance to see Spencer Niebur, an Alden-Conger graduate and one of their coaches, play for the Grizzlies.

Admission to the game is $5 and kids are free. All of the proceeds are donated back to the football program.
