Limo driver shot in chest in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A limousine driver is hospitalized after two men tried to steal the vehicle and shot the driver in the chest in Minneapolis.

According to police Sgt. William Palmer, the driver was thought to be picking people up from bars when the two men attempted to take the limo at about 10:45 p.m. Friday.

The driver did not cooperate and was shot in the chest.

The driver was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he was hospitalized Saturday. His injury is not thought to be life threatening.

No one is in custody.
