Time for a change in government

Voters, what does the word compromise mean? It means you make concessions, not “either do it my way or hit the highway.”

A good example of this was last year when the Republicans gave Gov. Mark Dayton no choice but to shut down over the Fourth of July weekend. Think about how much Minnesota lost out on: the goodwill of travelers, not to mention the revenue those travelers would have accrued. Even the non-manned rest stops were closed and no fishing licenses could be sold. It wasn’t a real smart move on the government’s part.

We as Minnesotans deserve better representation from our lawmakers. We again have a chance to make some necessary changes, so let’s do it! It’s definitely time!
