Jennifer Bartholmey and Logan Kahler were married at 3 p.m. June 16 in an outdoor ceremony at the home of the groom’s parents in Fairmont. The Rev. Terry Brandt performed the double-ring ceremony. 

Parents of the bride are Bill and Mary Bartholmey of Albert Lea. Grandparents are Helen and the late Loren Baker of Albert Lea and Deloris and the late William Bartholmey of New Richland.

Parents of the groom are Wayne and Char Kahler of Fairmont. Grandparents are the late Roy and Elvera Kahler of Fairmont and the late Harold and Greta Jagodzinske of Welcome.

Matron of honor was Katie Kautzmann of Fairmont, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amy Swenson, of Fulda, friend of the bride, and Chantill Kahler Royer of Mankato, sister of the groom.

Personal attendant was Sheena Hess of Minneapolis, friend of the bride.

Flower girl was Ida Rohman of Welcome, daughter of Sarah and Brooks Rohman, cousin of the groom.

Best man was Wyman Fischer of Fairmont, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Tom Royer of Mankato, brother-in-law of the groom, and Aaron Bartholmey of Colfax, Iowa, brother of the bride.

Ushers were Sam Kautzmann of Fairmont, friend of the bride and groom and Joe Berg of Fairmont, friend of the bride and groom.

Ring bearer was Kwame Jagodzinske, of Poulsbo, Wash., son of Daron and Kristin Jagodzinske, cousin of the groom.

Pianist was Felipe Moreno of Minneapolis, friend of the groom.

Soloist was Jamie Bleess of Fairmont, friend of the bride.

A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the home of the groom’s parents.

Jennifer is a 2002 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2006 graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead. She is a youth pastor at Fairmont Evangelical Covenant Church of Fairmont.

Logan is a 1998 Graduate of Fairmont High School and a 2002 graduate of Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. He is vice president of product development at Kahler Automation in Fairmont.

The couple plan to honeymoon in New Zealand in December. They reside in Fairmont.
