Lake Mills goes back to state

The Lake Mills girls’ volleyball team will be headed back to the state tournament beginning Wednesday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for the third year in a row.

The Bulldogs defeated Aplington-Parkersburg 3-2 Wednesday at a neutral spot in Mason City.

It was the first time the Bulldogs have had to play five games this year.
