Q: What year are you in school?
A: Junior.
Q: What school do you attend?
A: Albert Lea.
Q: Who is your immediate family?
A: Mom, Robbi; dad, Paul; brother, Ben.
Q: What sports are you involved in?
A: Basketball, volleyball and track.
Q: How did you get started in basketball?
A: I got started from watching my brother play, and it’s just been in the family. I started playing at the YMCA.
Q: How did you get started in volleyball?
A: My mom played, and I started playing in seventh grade.
Q: How did you get started in track?
A: I joined track because a lot of my friends were in it and I like to run.
Q: What numbers are you in your sports?
A: In basketball I’m No. 22 and in volleyball No. 9.
Q: What other extracurricular activities are you in?
A: I am in chorale and link crew.
Q: Did your parents play sports when they were younger?
A: My dad played basketball and baseball, and my mom played volleyball, basketball and track.
Q: Do you have siblings that play or have played any sports?
A: My brother plays basketball, he has been playing in Turkey for four years now. He also was in track for a little bit.
Q: What are your sports-related achievements?
A: I have been captain of the volleyball team since 10th grade. I was named All-Conference honorable mention in volleyball and I was named All-Conference in basketball last year, too.
Q: What is your sports-related goal?
A: My goal is to play basketball in college.
Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete? Why?
A: Ben Woodside, because he is my brother.
Q: What is your favorite school subject?
A: Chemistry because the teacher makes it fun.
Q: Who is your favorite teacher?
A: I would say it’s a tie between Jim Haney, Wendy Keszler and Kurt Barickman.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I like playing ping-pong, I like playing Scrabble and I like to watch movies.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: To be a nurse practitioner.
Q: What is your favorite movie or TV show?
A: My favorite TV show is “Grey’s Anatomy.”
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Any type of pasta.
Q: What is an interesting fact about you?
A: I like the color purple.
