I want to thank Rich Murray for his hard work on behalf of local homeowners in the Freeborn County area. The noise from the local group of Murray bashers just doesn’t add up. Property taxes for average value homes in Freeborn County stayed flat this year and will go down next year. If you don’t believe me, look at the residential property tax statements available on the Internet.

Also, to blame Murray for one line in the bipartisan agreement to end the shutdown is beyond the pale. Is Shannon Savick really saying that she would have voted against this bill and would have kept government shut down?

Rich Murray fought hard for all of southern Minnesota and stood up to those in his own party who wanted to push legislation that would have hurt our area. Rich Murray is a well-versed legislator and a great person.

Please join me in voting for Rich Murray on Nov. 6.
