Sons of Norway to change meeting place

The Sons of Norway will hold its regular monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Senior Center.

The lodge is closing for the winter months, and meetings will be held at the Senior Center until the lodge re-opens.

 

Alano Society hosts breakfast

The Alano Society of Albert Lea will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at 1005 Ulstad Ave. Cost is $5 per person.

 

Waffle breakfast is Sunday

TTT Chapter W will sponsor an all you can eat Dad’s Belgian Waffle breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday at First Lutheran Church in Bethany Hall. The cost is $7 per person and 4 and under are free.

 

Walters to hold meal

The Walters firefighters oyster stew and chili feed will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 24 at the Walters Fire Hall. The cost is $8 per adult and $5 for 12 and under.

 

Spanish Club raising funds

The Glenville-Emmons Spanish Club plans to team with Spanish students from other area schools to travel to Costa Rica. The club’s first fundraiser will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 28 at Pizza Ranch in Albert Lea.

During those three hours, the group will earn 15 percent of profits and tips. The club hopes the public will come support the event.
