Judy Turbett, 62, Turtle Lake

Judy Ann Turbett, 62, of Turtle Lake, formerly of Clarks Grove, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012. She was born Aug. 2, 1950, in Rice Lake, Wis., to Milton and Hazel (Jerry) Ritter. She was married in Albert Lea on July 3, 1971, to Mark Turbett, who preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 2008.

She is survived by a daughter, Melissa (Carl Frank) Stundahl of Osceola, Wis., and a son, Gary (Janelle) Turbett, Albert Lea; six grandchildren, Christopher (Jaime Srsen) Stundahl, Nicholas Stundahl, Jessica Stundahl, Brandon Steele, Andrew Steele, and Emma Turbett; a great-granddaughter, Evelyn Stundahl; a sister, Donna Hay of Cumberland; two brothers, Lonnie Ritter of Barron and Tom Ritter of Cumberland. Judy is also survived by her two dogs Cookie and Hunter; and her cat, Frisky.

Judy enjoyed playing cards, bowling and the Green Bay Packers and she dearly loved her family, especially her six grandchildren and her great-granddaughter. She was employed at Perkins Restaurant in Albert Lea for many years, and later at the Frontier Restaurant in Turtle Lake.

A celebration of Judy’s Life will be Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Skinner Funeral Home in Turtle Lake.

Skinner Funeral Home of Turtle Lake is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
