Robert and Betty Peoble, owners of Peoble Divers & Peoble Photography in Albert Lea, recently attended the Dive Equipment & Manufacturing Association’s annual Scuba Diving Equipment and Trade Show held in Las Vegas.
The association show is the nation’s largest professional show held in the United States.
The Peobles attended several lectures sponsored by Divers Alert Network, the Professional Association of Dive Instructors, Diving Unlimited International Dry Suits and Ocean Technology Systems.
Peoble Divers is now an official public safety dealer for Diving Unlimited International dry suits and public safety equipment, along with Ocean Technology Systems public safety equipment.
Robert Peoble earned his complete gas analysis instructor certification through Analox analyzers and the Professional Association of Dive Instructors. He said he is excited to carry the Ocean Technology Systems full face masks and underwater communications, along with other pieces of equipment.
Peoble Divers is hoping to expand the business into the public safety market, supplying fire departments and police and sheriff’s departments with the latest technology.
Robert Peoble is a certified Professional Association of Dive Instructors open water scuba instructor and has been working with the Northfield Fire Rescue Dive Team to certify five new divers into the program. The couple is working on dry suit certification, advanced open water and dive rescue, and possibly even ice diving.
Peoble also attended the Nebraska Professional Photographers fall convention in Grand Island, Neb., and the Iowa Professional Photographers Association fall convention in Des Moines. Robert Peoble teaches underwater photography along with custom framing.
