The Alden-Conger Student Council will host a charity event on Jan. 26, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Alden-Conger gymnasium.

The group is asking girls from surrounding areas to bring in any formal dresses, such as homecoming, coronation, prom or bridesmaids’ dresses that the owner would like to see at a discounted price from their original purchase. Ten percent of the money that is made from the dress sales will be donated to the Susan. G. Komen for a cure, breast cancer and the remainder of the money will go to the owner.
