Daffodil Days is right around corner

Published 9:09 am Friday, March 8, 2013

The American Cancer Society Daffodils Days will be held throughout Albert Lea and Freeborn County the week of March 12-16. Daffodils, dainty daffodils and the American Cancer Society Boyds Bears will be sold at the Hy-Vee store at 2708 Bridge St. from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Nelson’s Marketplace at 1619 W. Main St. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 14, 15 and 16 — i.e, Thursday through Saturday. Daffodils, dainties and Boyds Bears will also be available at the Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Albert Lea.

The Daffodils Days program is one of the American Cancer Society’s oldest programs. Every dollar you provide to the American Cancer Society goes toward eliminating cancer as a major health concern. As the first flower of spring, the daffodil symbolizes the hope we all share for a future where cancer no longer threatens those that we love.

We hope you will support this special program of the American Cancer Society.
