Dine to Donate event raises more than $100

Applebee’s in Albert Lea partnered with the United Way of Freeborn County for its first ever Dine to Donate. When people dined at Applebee’s they could inform their server they would like to donate to the United Way and 15 percent of the bill would then be donated to United Way of Freeborn County. The event ran on Tuesdays from Jan. 29 to Feb. 26 and raised $105.77.
