DES MOINES — A West Des Moines school bus carrying 11 children to school has crashed into a house. Police say no injuries have been reported.

The bus, on its way to Crestview Elementary School on Monday morning left the road, went through several yards, hit a truck parked in a driveway and came to rest when it crashed into the side of a home.

The garage door was torn off the home and a front wall had extensive damage. The back of the bus came to rest against the house and the front against a tree.

Police are investigating what happened. They say several accidents have been caused by slick roads, the result of about 2 inches of new snow.
