Call senators about Medicare

Published 9:22 am Wednesday, April 10, 2013

Sens. Amy Klubuchar and Al Franken along with 11 other Democratic senators and 26 Democratic House members have signed letters to U.S. Department of Health and Human Services objecting to draft regulations that cut Medicare Advantage even more deeply than Congress mandated in the Affordable Care Act. We used to have a Medicare Advantage plan, but our insurance agent no longer had it available after this law passed. Health and Human Services does not answer to us voters so look for them to write many more rules in the law than our elected officials intended. Tell your senators to read bills before they sign them!
