Trees reported down

A large tree reportedly fell near the intersection of Seventh Street and St. Joseph Ave. at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday, blocking the road, according to Albert Lea police.

A large tree branch was also reported down on Richway Drive east of Green Lea Golf Course at 7:33 p.m. Tuesday.

 

Check reported stolen

A theft of a check was reported at 201 S. Central Ave. in Hollandale at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office. The check was reportedly written out for $3,700.

 

Man arrested for assault

Albert Lea police arrested David James Hockinson, 25, for domestic assault,disorderly conduct and obstructing justice at 10:39 a.m. Tuesday at 918 Valley Ave.

 

Gas drive-off reported

A gas drive-off was reported at 1820 Margaretha Ave. at 8:48 p.m. Tuesday, according to Albert Lea police. Fifty dollars in gas was reported taken by someone in a white Suburban.
