The Albert Lea girls’ golf team took down Faribault and Mankato East Tuesday.

The Tigers beat Mankato East, the second-place team, by 21 strokes.

Megan Pulley of Albert Lea was the medalist. She shot an 84.

“This is a good showing for the limited practice we’ve had so far,” Albert Lea head girls’ golf coach Shawn Riebe said.

On the season, the Tigers are 4-0. Next, Albert Lea will tee off against Northfield at Willinger’s Golf Club at 4 p.m., Thursday.
