The Albert Lea girls’ golf team finished third out of six teams Tuesday at the Owatonna Country Club.

Megan Pulley led Albert Lea with a score of 90. Sam Nielsen shot a 102, Makenna Friehl, 104, and Mady Dahl, 108.

Albert Lea head coach Shawn Riebe is looking for improvement.

“We really need to find our game soon and play more summer golf to build some consistency during the season,” he said. “We just didn’t have it today.”

Next, Albert Lea will compete at the Section 1AAA meet at Cannon Golf Club outside of Cannon Falls Thursday.
