Proud to be a conservative loon

Published 3:33pm Saturday, June 8, 2013

OK, I’ll take the bait. Mr. Wayne Thorson is all wet. I’m one of those conservative loons and proud of it . I am a conservative, and a Tea Party member with a Libertarian streak. That said Republicans are not perfect.

The only cable news network that comes close to presenting a balanced news cast is the Fox News network. Yes, Fox leans right at times, but MSNBC is the administration’s lap dog.

I am not a gun nut but believe it is the right of every American to own and bear arms. Gun registration is the first step to confiscation. Strict guns laws do not work. Consider the murder rate in Chicago.

President George W. Bush had his flaws; however, I believe history will exonerate him. He governed at a very difficult time and prevented additional attacks after 9/11. Bush did not declare war on Iraq, Congress did, with Sen. Hillary Clinton voting yes. Bush misled no one. The CIA screwed up or Iraq moved their weapons of mass destruction to Syria.

Consider Barack Obama’s record. He started off by refusing to take action against the New Black Panthers for black-on-white voter intimidation.

Fast and Furious was a stupid idea and a criminal activity. We still don’t know the truth.

Calling the Fort Hood massacre a case of “workplace violence” is an example of political correctness in the extreme.

Giving the Shoe Bomber the same rights as an American citizen was just plain dumb.

Benghazi was a disaster at all levels. Obama’s efforts to deny responsibility is a prime example of his lack of leadership. The continuing efforts to cover up the truth is a possible crime.

The IRS fiasco is an example of the arrogance of the Omama administration. When the truth comes out, this may be the biggest government scandal in our lifetime. The IRS has the power at their discretion to destroy any citizen’s life or business. In the IRS’s eye, you are guilty until proven innocent. The IRS’s willingness to use its authority for political purposes should terrify everyone, liberal or conservative. This scandal is far worse than Watergate.

Illegally tapping the Associated Press phone lines and those of a Fox News reporter is an example of this administration’s willingness to ignore the Constitution.

Obamacare is a ticking time bomb that will devastate the economy and make it more difficult and expensive to get health care.

It is time for the free world to accept that we are at war with radical Islam. Political correctness makes America look weak. Radical Muslims only understand and respect strength. There now have been three terrorist attracts on Americans under Obama’s administration. Incarcerating radicalized Muslims with the general prison population should not happen. Prison is an ideal place to recruit and indoctrinate individuals, already living outside of the law, to beliefs of the radical Islam.

President Harry Truman’s most famous quote, when faced with a mistake made by a subordinate, he said “The buck stops here.” Obama, take a lesson.

I don’t care that you proudly call yourself a conservative loon, but I do care that you spout the talking points of the “fair and balanced” Fox News. Everything you wrote in your letter to the editor were straight from Faux News. Just this weekend, they cut off the mic of a liberal pundit because the host didn’t like what he heard. You won’t find that happening on MSNBC where they do the other side a fair and balanced chance to give their point of view.

Patti likes to defend the indefensible solely based on party

I too find it interesting that the government is looking more and more like a socialist totalitarian state where the people are monitored “that’s spying” to you patti and prosecuted by numerous governmental agencies “that’s illegal abuse of power” to you patti, solely based on belief.

Sooo…. the Obama Administration has admitted it was suppressing it’s citizens basic rights, spying on them, not complying with subpoenas, or requests for information, claiming executive privilege over illegal operations and basically lying in order to manage the message.

Obama promised open and transparent government remember that patti? I do, but I find what Valerie Jarret said more truthful and representative of the current administration.

“After we win this election, it’s our turn. Payback time. Everyone not with us is against us and they better be ready because we don’t forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve. There is going to be hell to pay. Congress won’t be a problem for us this time. No election to worry about after this is over and we have two judges ready to go.”

Things that make you go Hmmmmmmmm
