2 injured in crash

Two men were injured Tuesday evening after a car rear-ended another car on Bridge Avenue near Calvary Baptist Church.

According to police, James Rambo, 30, and David Rambo, 65, were transported to the Albert Lea hospital from injuries sustained in the crash.

Reports indicated the Rambos were driving south on the street in a 2008 white Honda and were going to turn left when they were struck by a 1997 Ford driven by Joseph Lee, 48. Lee was not injured.

Playground reported damaged

The lower playground on the north side of Lakeview Elementary School, 902 Abbott St., was reported spray-painted and scratched at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday, according to Albert Lea police.

 

Break-in reported

A garage was reported broken into at 72922 160th St., Albert Lea, at 4:17 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The break-in reportedly took place on Monday. Items were taken.

 

Money stolen

Money was reported stolen from a purse in the office of Love’s Travel Stop at 11:12 p.m. Tuesday, according to police.
