Barn fire reported

A barn fire at an abandoned farm was reported at 61975 140th St., Walters, at 1:47 p.m. Saturday, according to reports. The Kiester Fire Department and Faribault County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.

 

Man arrested for DWI

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Tyler Matthew Lutz for driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 1:15 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Freeborn County Road 35 and Interstate 35, according to reports.

 

Car fire reported

A car fire was reported on Interstate 90 near the Freeborn County Road 30 bridge at 2:29 a.m. Sunday, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The owner of the vehicle was given a ride home.

 

Items reported missing

A garage was reported broken into at 1405 Oakwood Dr. at 9:44 a.m. Friday, according to police. Items were missing.

Items were reported missing from a residence at 630 Larimore Circle, according to police.

Gas was reported stolen from 61640 295th St., Wells, at 4:53 p.m. Friday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.

A china hutch was reported stolen from 1111 Madison Ave. at 4:27 p.m. Friday, according to police.

 

Window broken out

A window was reported broken out of a blue van parked near the intersection of East Main Street and Sibley Avenue at 2:46 p.m. Friday, according to police.

 

Man arrested for possession of stolen property

Albert Lea police arrested Rodrick Deshun Mosley, 24, at 5:45 p.m. Sunday for possession of stolen property and fraudulent plates at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., reports stated.

 

Man cited for drug possession

Albert Lea police cited Grant Tyler Frazier for drug possession and drug paraphernalia after receiving a report of a suspicious person at 100 W. Hawthorne St. at 11:41 p.m., according to police.

 

Moped reported stolen

A moped was reported stolen from 627 Water St. at 6:37 a.m. Saturday, according to police.

 

House broken into

A house was reported broken into at 923 Jefferson Ave. at 11:39 a.m. Sunday, according to police.
