City doesn’t mow its own grass

Why can’t the city keep their empty lots mowed? For the last 26 years I’ve always had to call the city to mow the two empty lots at the end of Will-O-Bruce Drive.

Last year, I didn’t call them, and they mowed it once all year. I suppose that’s what’s going to happen this year, too, because I didn’t call them.

They know the empty lots are there. Why can’t they mow them on a regular schedule?

They say the grass has to be nine inches tall for them to mow. Well, the thistles are almost shoulder high.

I’m sick and tired of calling.
