Thunderstorm watch is in effect

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for several southern Minnesota counties, and there is a chance of hail associated with these storms. Gusts could reach 50 to 60 mph.
The watch is in effect in Blue Earth, Dodge, Faribault, Fillmore, Freeborn, Houston, Martin, Mower, Olmsted, Steele, Wabasha, Waseca, Watonwan and Winona counties.
