Fast food employee foils alleged counterfeit plan

An employee at Taco John’s called Albert Lea police when three customers attempted to pay with a counterfeit $50 bill around 7 p.m. Tuesday. Rachel Rae Foster, 25, was arrested for passing a counterfeit bill and aiding and abetting the passing of a counterfeit bill, according to reports. Jake Michael Karow, 27, was arrested for passing a counterfeit bill, and Kristine Ann Schroeder, 20, was cited for driving after suspension, according to Albert Lea police. Police then found that the three had just passed another bill at Wendy’s prior to going to Taco John’s.
