Apartment damaged

Damage was reported to the office and an apartment at the Downtown Homes, 133 W. William St., at 10:14 a.m. According to police, the tenants in the apartment had been evicted two weeks ago, but the apartment was not checked until Wednesday. Damage, including graffiti on the walls, was estimated at $7,000.

 

Cellphones stolen from Walmart

A case holding cellphones was reportedly broken into at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., at 12:21 p.m. Wednesday. An estimated $10,000 worth of items were taken. The incident was captured on video.

 

Man arrested for domestic assault

Albert Lea police arrested Sylvester Kenneth Jensen, 42, for domestic assault at 10:47 p.m. Wednesday, according to reports. The police logs had the address for the incident crossed out.
