No wakes in Dane Bay

Windows broken

A caller to dispatchers at 12:55 p.m. Sunday was leaving Trinity Lutheran Church and said she saw boys breaking garage windows in an alley behind Pearl Street. The owner of 220 Pearl St. later told Albert Lea police the damage will be covered up with wood.

Windows also were reported broken at 402 Park St. in Freeborn. According to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, the report came at noon Sunday.

No wakes in Dane Bay

A white and blue boat was spotted pulling an inner tube in Dane Bay around 3 p.m. Sunday. A sheriff’s deputy warned the driver that wakes are not allowed in Dane Bay.

 

Cattle loose

A sheriff’s deputy discovered loose cattle southeast of Glenville. A farmer at 84493 130th St. said he would keep the cattle confined until someone calls about missing them.
