Xinyi (Tina) Peng, of Lanzhou, China, and Kevin Lynne, of Volga, S.D., were married on July 20, 2013, at Grace Point Wesley Church in Brookings, S.D.
The Rev. Steve Norby performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Qihua Liu and Kefu Peng of Lanzhou, China, and her American parents are Wendy and Todd Intermill of Coleman, S.D.
The groom’s parents are Ann and Earl Lynne of Hartland.
The maid of honor was Samantha Intermill, of Brookings, American sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Londa Florey, of Brookings, friend of the bride, and Kris Schofield, of Philip, S.D., friend of the bride.
Flower girl was January Olson, of Rutland, S.D., American niece of the bride and daughter of Lacey and Jordan Olson.
Best man was Gene Lynne, of Hartland, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Nathanael Rehn, of Dubuque, Iowa, friend of the groom, and Michael Holt, of Early, Texas, friend of the groom.
Ring bearer was Dayton Olson, of Rutland, American nephew of the bride and son of Lacey and Jordan Olson.
Scripture was read in English and Chinese by Yang Liu, of San Diego, Calif., the bride’s cousin.
Soloist was Jacinda Cewinske. Musician was Kyle Marker.
The bride is a 2013 graduate of Dakota State University in Madison, S.D., with a Bachelor of Science degree in management and marketing.
The groom is a 2007 graduate New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva High School and a 2011 graduate of South Dakota State University in Brookings, with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He is currently attending South Dakota State University to complete his master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
A reception was held at Grace Point Wesleyan following the ceremony. A second reception was held at Cross of Glory Church in Hartland on Saturday.
