Local student receives scholarship

Jacob Sorenson, the son of James and Jacque Sorenson of Alden, has been selected as the 2013 recipient of a $1,000

Corn Capital Innovations Scholarship for higher education by the Minnesota 4-H Foundation.

Sorenson has been a member of the Alden 4-H for nine years.
