Student accepted to school

Krystal Thompson of Albert Lea has been selected to Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo., for the fall of 2014. Thompson was also awarded the Trustee’s Scholarship, a four-year award. Thompson’s anticipated major is physical therapy.

 

Student receives scholarships

Lindsay Frank of Ellendale was awarded the Toby J. Landgraf Endowed Scholarship and Club Managers Association of America, Stout Student Chapter Annual Scholarship.

Frank is a student at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

 

Glenville native cast in play

Makenzie Mauntler of Glenville was selected to play the role of Audrey, a country girl, in Buena Vista University’s theatre production of William Shakespeare’s romantic comedy, “As You Like It.”

The play performances were at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 6-9.
