Vehicles reported stolen

GENEVA — A 2001 four-door black Volvo was reported stolen from 102 S. Central Ave. in Geneva at 10:20 a.m. Monday. The vehicle was reportedly taken last Wednesday.

A 1998 GMC red Jimmy was reported stolen from a driveway at 615 Pillsbury Ave. at 9:04 p.m. Monday.

 

Items reported stolen

An electronic tablet was reported stolen from 833 S. Fourth Ave. in Albert Lea at 6:52 a.m. Monday. The theft reportedly took place about 8 p.m. Sunday.

Albert Lea police received a report Monday afternoon of checks that were stolen from a vehicle parked on the 800 block of Fourth Ave. The owner of the checks stated some of the checks had been written out.

A 19-inch flatscreen TV was reported taken out of an ice house while parked at 1428 Academy Ave. at 1:27 p.m. Monday.

Car parts were reported stolen from 78248 Freeborn County Road 46 at 9:22 a.m. Sunday.

A Craftsman snowblower valued at $350 was reported stolen from 809 Freeborn Ave. at 5:08 p.m. Friday, according to police.

 

Woman cited for school bus violation

Albert Lea police cited Marilyn Ann Stegenga for a school bus stop-arm violation near the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Hawthorne Street at 2:35 p.m. Monday.

 

Woman arrested for drunken driving

Albert Lea police arrested Cynthia Jane Jacobs, 58, for driving while intoxicated after receiving a report of a vehicle that was driving carelessly near the intersection of West Ninth Street and U.S. Highway 69 at 6:07 p.m. Monday.

 

2 arrested for drugs

Police arrested Cody Jay Eggum, 27, for fifth-degree drug possession and a small amount of marijuana after a traffic stop near the intersection of Pearl Street and Wedgemore Street at 6:54 p.m. Monday. Also cited was Anthony Carl Dugstad, 27, for a small amount of marijuana.

 

Storage units broken into

Storage units were reported broken into at 81027 Freeborn County Road 46, near Hayward, at 10:41 a.m. Saturday, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

 

2 cited for underage drinking

GLENVILLE — Freeborn County sheriff’s deputies cited Tyler Elihu Thofson for underage drinking at 11:14 p.m. Saturday at 290 W. Main St., Glenville. Casey Duaine King, 18, was cited for underage drinking at 12:19 a.m. Sunday.

 

Gas drive-off reported

A gas drive-off was reported at the Super America gas station, 23087 Minnesota Highway 13, at 12:59 a.m. today. The value of the gas was $44.63.
