Lake Mills senior started playing basketball in 5th grade

Q: What year are you in school?

A: Senior.

Q: What school do you attend?

A: Lake Mills.

 

Q: Who is your immediate family?

A: My mother is Andrea; father, Darrel; and my brother is Mitchel.

 

Q: What sports are you involved in?

A: Basketball, track and softball.

 

Q: What is your favorite part of playing basketball?

A: It’s probably the teamwork aspect of it and getting to know everybody — definitely the bonds I make with my friends.

 

Q: What number are you?

A: I’m No. 14 at home and 15 away. 14 is my favorite number.

 

Q: How did you get started in basketball?

A: I started in fifth grade. I think my friends talked me into going out.

 

Q: What sports did your family members play?

A: My brother played football, basketball, golf and baseball.

 

Q: What are your sports-related goals? 

A: I’d like to have a winning season, and I think we can finish in the top four or five in the conference.

 

Q: What are your college plans? 

A: I haven’t decided. I think I want to go into radiology, but I haven’t decided where yet.

 

Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete? Why?

A: Kevin Love. I just really like watching him.

 

Q: What is your favorite school subject? 

A: I like art classes.

 

Q: Who is your favorite teacher? 

A: Sarah Raymond, my English teacher, or Caryl Dahn, my art teacher.

 

Q: What are your hobbies? 

A: They’re pretty much just the sports I play. It’s pretty much all I have time for.

 

Q: What is your favorite TV show?

A: “Awkward” or “Teen Wolf.”

 

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Buffalo Wild Wings traditional wings with honey barbecue sauce, and I really like cheese curds.
