Fishing problems reported

Albert Lea police received multiple calls of people spearing or fishing with bows and arrows near the Fountain Lake dam on Sunday morning. No one was cited.

 

Mailboxes damaged

GLENVILLE — Multiple mailboxes were reported damaged on First and Fourth streets in Glenville Friday morning. The mailboxes appear to have been damaged by a car.

 

Men arrested for domestic assault

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Jon David Stout, 26, for domestic assault and interfering with a 911 call at 3:23 p.m. Friday at 201 Central Ave. S. in Hollandale, according to reports.

Albert Lea police arrested Roberto Carlos Romo, 24, for domestic assault at 12:30 a.m. Saturday at 820 S. Fourth Ave.

 

Man arrested for meth possession

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Thomas Edward Kinder, 49, for felony methamphetamine possession and Troy Arthur Leeper, 40, for driving after cancellation and drug paraphernalia at the intersection of 782nd Avenue and Freeborn County Road 46.

 

Man’s name released in assault

Albert Lea police released the name of the man arrested for allegations of misdemeanor assault Wednesday evening at 3019 Lake Chapeau Drive. The man was identified as Alex James Reule, 19.

 

1 arrested for shoplifting

Albert Lea police arrested Derek Jean Hanson, 37, for shoplifting and fleeing police on foot at 11:44 a.m. Friday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.
Items reported stolen

Items were reported stolen from a room at 2301 E. Main St. at 5:31 p.m. Saturday, according to police.
