The South Central Minnesota SCORE Chapter 710 volunteers will meet at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Albert Lea Economic Development Agency office at 2610 Y.H. Hanson Ave. in Albert Lea.

There will be a brief business meeting followed by a presentation on using social networking with business associates, clients and customers. SCORE volunteers from the seven-county area of Nicollet, Blue Earth, Faribault, Waseca, Freeborn, Rice and Steele counties served by Chapter 710 are invited and encouraged to attend. Individuals interested in becoming volunteers are also invited.

SCORE is a nonprofit association supported by the U.S. Small Business Association with the goal of providing no-cost, confidential mentoring by experienced volunteers to new entrepreneurs and to existing businesses. In addition, SCORE sponsors no- and low-cost seminars and workshops, as well as access to a number of business planning resources. This year will mark the 50th year that SCORE has served as an additional resource to America’s small businesses.
