The South Central Minnesota SCORE Chapter 710 volunteers will meet at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Albert Lea Economic Development Agency office at 2610 Y.H. Hanson Ave. in Albert Lea.

There will be a brief business meeting followed by a presentation on using social networking with business associates, clients and customers. Individuals interested in becoming volunteers are also invited.

SCORE is a nonprofit association supported by the U.S. Small Business Association with the goal of providing no-cost, confidential mentoring by experienced volunteers to new entrepreneurs and to existing businesses. In addition, SCORE sponsors no- and low-cost seminars and workshops, as well as access to a number of business planning resources. This year will mark the 50th year that SCORE has served as an additional resource to America’s small businesses.
