ST. PAUL — Colten Carlson of United South Central took second place at the Class A state tournament Saturday at the Xcel Center.

Carlson led 3-2 with 30 seconds left in the championship match in the 182-pound match, but a late takedown and tie-up led to a 4-3 loss against Niko Anderson of Fillmore Central/Lanesboro/Mabel-Canton.

Carlson was one of two Rebels to place. Dylan Herman took fourth at 145 pounds.
