AUSTIN — The Jay C Hormel Nature Center will host a celebration for the 44th annual Earth Day.

Douglas Wood and the WildSpirit Band will perform during the event, and cake and punch will be served. Nature Center director Larry Dolphin will share the latest news on the new interpretative center project.

The program will be at 7 p.m. April 22 in the Ruby Rupner Auditorium in the Nature Center. The event is free and open to the public, but those attending are asked to make reservations by April 21. For more information or to make a reservation call 507-437-7519.
